Who we are

Oriact is small Swiss start-up dedicated to making software development in teams easier. The founders Dr. Till Bay, Dr. Bernd Schoeller and MSc ETH CS Patrick Ruckstuhl have built the platform while working at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - ETH Zürich. We wanted Oriact to be able to quickly integrate new tools we felt useful for software development. There is no other platform out there that is capable of doing that; we wanted oriact to combine our entire development toolchain in a streamlined, scalable and intuituve way - here we are!

Oriact's head quarters is the middle of the Swiss Alps - in Küssnacht.

Community

Oriact is for the enterprise. With Oriact our clients get a one-stop solution for their teams. Oriact is delivered pre-installed on a Dell R300 server machine that is ready to run. Under the hood, Oriact runs the open-source software development platform we have built - Origo. Origo has a large userbase and hosts software development projects of any size for free - our active community furthers development and runs the site hosted at ETH.
